Places You Should Visit In Your Life Time
A vast cup-shaped hayfield surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Gulmarg looks like a fantasy set in everyone’s mind. With lush green slopes, deep colorful valleys and high-scaling mountains covered with white layers of snow, this rolling meadow casts a wizardly trance to lure tourists from far and wide. However, travel to Gulmarg is an ideal escape for adventure lovers and sports enthusiasts.
Gulmarg is one of most sought after tourist spots in Jammu & Kashmir located approximately 2 hours drive from Srinagar – the summer capital of the state. This strange city is an excellent skiing resort in India and is thronged by millions of travelers annually.
Located in the heart of the city, this Chapel is the only surviving building of the Capetian Royal Palace. It is regarded as one of the most important mementos of the medieval Christendom. This 13th-century chapel boasts impressive Gothic architecture. During the French Revolution period, it received a massive damage, but it was again restored back to shine in the 18th century. It has one of the most comprehensive in-situ collections of the 13th-century stained glass.
Museum Of Science And Industry
Perhaps one of the largest museums of its kind in the US – with exception to the ones in Los Angeles and New York City – this place is just excellent; especially for kids! From a generous heart that encompasses an entire room and is fully interactive, to the impressive ‘Yesterday’s Main Street’ exhibit which will take you on a trip back in time to experience how the Windy City looked in the early 1900s.
Clifton Beaches Of Cape Town
Even though Durban is more known for beach holidaying, beaches such as Clifton Beach have made Cape Town extremely attractive for beach lovers. This beach is actually the same stretch but owing to the topography of the land, has been divided into four coves. All the coves have been numbered 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. At the Clifton Beaches, one can enjoy all kinds of water sports as well as swimming. Lazing out, topless or otherwise, is okay here while the kiosks and shops around fulfill all the needs.
Exploring different cultures, their lifestyle, their delicious cuisines and beautiful places is what many people and I love to do.
